Amazing that animals can grow in bodies and never see sunlight.

Helen and I made stuffed animals last night. We didn’t exactly work in separate vacuums, but it was pretty amazing how well they worked together. Can you tell who made which?
My other friend at my desk’s name is Charlie. It is a painting Helen made in 2002, I believe. It is my favorite painting that I have. I feel like he might be an unhumorous version of what inspired the character Barney from the Simpsons (subtract the slurred, shrill voice and replace with an Italian Stephin Merritt voice). I’ve had him by my desk for years now and he continuously stares at me. As cold as he looks, he sure is warm to me.
My new really good friend lives on my desk. He accepts batteries, but doesn’t do the right thing with them. He’s supposed to pop his eyes, expose his teeth, and crash his cymbals. Instead he just shakes. He’s old. It’s ok. I love him just the same.
Spoleto Festival website got Fuzzco’ed. Very proud of this one.

Preview of MJMWF video creationism.
Leopard Seal tries to teach man how to eat penguins.
We’re going to Asheville tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Not much slower than years, but very interesting look at national power bubbles.
Beluga whale being born. This gave me some anxiety at first.
I might start defending myself this way too.
So much cooler than crystal balls.
Upstream in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, the satellites thought I was in a salmon run.
The innards of a Magic 8-ball.
Got used to fresh bagels at the market. Helen has been put on fresh bagel assignment. I reckon she’ll blog about it in a minute or two.
These hunting games seem sad. Someone needs to make a version where the gun is a plastic human head and instead of bullets you shoot kisses. And when the animals get hit they get really excited and jump up and down instead of dying.
Considering eating abandoned hot dog. Clean knife cut edge.
I’m so very tempted and have a lot of ideas about this.
The 1,500 piece one is expensive, but there is a circular one you can get for $26 and some smaller rectangles. I’m potentially spoiling Christmas gifts, but this is warranted.
