“i’ve gotta be honest. i never wanted to hurt your feelings, but enough time has passed, so i’ve gotta get it off my chest. i’m just not into it. it’s a little embarassing.”
“you know what, i kind of thought the same when i got it for you. i took a real risk. however, since then i’ve seen it so many times, and it grows on me more and more every day. i’ve really grown to like [the glowing lion mirror], perhaps more than anything else in the world.”
“really? you like it that much.”
“now that i think about it, i guess i do.”
“maybe you should have it.”
“no, no. that was a gift from me to you.”
“really if you like it that much you should just take it. otherwise i might take it off the wall and just put it away.”
“oh my! don’t do that. i’d love to give it a new home.”
